Detailed Information/Report on Activities

The medical student exchange project was conducted by Niigata University School of Medicine. Based on more than 30 years of medical exchanges with Russia, this program aims to expand the borders and provide global medical education. In addition to global education for students, including medical English and international liberal arts, we also plan and manage overseas training for medical students. Medical student exchange programs include: (1) Summer medical student exchange program: a 10-day program that uses summer vacation to provide intensive lectures, practical training, and exercises in clinical and basic medicine (bi-directional); (2) Research training program: 2 months of full-scale research training abroad; (3) Clinical Training II: 6 weeks of clinical training (bi-directional) overseas. In addition, in terms of graduate student exchange, we actively support students coming within the frame of the “Special Priority Placement Program” and privately funded international students.
