Detailed Information/Report on Activities

Brown coal is rich reservation and mostly unused resources. However, brown coal has disadvantages such as high moisture content, low calorific value, and self-ignition when dried. Thermal decomposition and gasification can be considered as a method of solving this problem. Many researchers have studied pyrolysis and gasification, but because of the characteristics of coal, the research results differ depending on the type of coal and the place of production. In order to upgrade Mongolian brown coal, it is necessary to conduct research on pyrolysis and gasification using Mongolian brown coal.
